📋 UK Company Name Rules (Companies Act 2006)
- Must end in "Limited", "Ltd", "PLC" or Welsh equivalents (for limited companies)
- Cannot be the same as or too similar to an existing registered name
- Cannot include sensitive words (e.g. "Royal", "Bank", "University") without approval
- Cannot be offensive or misleading
- Must be between 1 and 160 characters
- Punctuation is largely ignored when checking for similarity
